ABOUT SAA
SAA is a fellowship of men and women who share their strength, hope and experience to recover from their common sex addiction. The North Bay Area Intergroup’s mission is to embody Tradition Five, which states “Each group has but one primary purpose, to carry the message to the sex addict who still suffers.” We do this by serving the local meetings and providing a link between the meetings and the greater fellowship.
KEY TO MEETINGS
• 1st Step: First Step presentations given at meeting
• 12x12: Reading from AA’s 12 Steps and 12 Traditions
• Big Book: Reading from AA Big Book
• Chips: Sobriety chips handed out
• Closed: Only sex addicts, or those who think they may be sex addicts,
can attend these meetings.
• Green Book: Readings from the SAA Green Book (basic text)
• Inner Circle: "Inner Circle" behaviors shared at meeting
• Men’s: Men only
• Mixed: Men and Women
• No F/D: No Food or Drink
• Open: Anyone may attend a meeting specifically designated as open

NEWS FLASH
The International Service Organization of SAA is pleased to announce the availability of SAA pamphlets on the SAA website (saa-recovery.org). The pamphlets may be found by following the "SAA literature" sub-tab from the Home page. Also included are the pamphlets in Spanish and the "Pathway to Recovery" pamphlet in French.
The North Bay Area Intergroup of S.A.A. is an autonomous registered fellowship of registered groups of recovering sex addicts who follow the 12 steps and 12 traditions of SAA based on those of Alcoholics Anonymous.
www.saa-recovery.org is the official website of SAA and is overseen by the ISO of SAA, Inc. through its Board of Trustees who are elected by delegates to represent its member groups.
